The walls of the recording room are doubled up to create a sound-killing two inch air gap between them. Each wall is filled with Rockwool Safe n' Sound insulation.

We like to record kick drum using a three mic system, including a condenser on a pillow inside the drum, a dynamic mic on the hole, and a sub bass mic by DW outside to pick up the lowest of frequencies.
